Partying all night and enjoying alcohol with friends is great fun and thrill, we don’t even get to know when we have crossed our limits of alcohol, because we are too busy enjoying the party till dawn dancing, dazzling and drinking. But we usually tend to forget the side effects of too much drinking, but the next morning reminds our mistake to us with a hangover. Drinking alcohol has many bad effects on your body, so it should be taken in a limit if required. But if you are not able to resist the urge to have fun, and then have a hangover the next day, better use the home remedies for hangover to get out of the situation as soon as possible.
Home Remedies for Hangovers:
- Take 2 Bananas and prepare a milk shake, it is said that this is one of the best home remedy for hangovers as Bananas are rich in potassium, do not add sugar to this milk shake instead use honey, this home remedy is quite effective.
- Prepare a drink made of tulsi leaves, take 8-9 leaves and add a little pepper, one clove, honey and few drops of lime juice to it and add ice to make it cold and drink it, this home remedy for hangover is used for many decades by people.
- Take 2 carrots add an apple, little ginger, lime and some ice in the mixture and drink it. This homemade recipe works to reduce the affect of hangover.
- Eat lots of Oranges or drink 2 glasses of orange juice as it is rich in Vitamin C and it would dilute the effect of alcohol and also provides nutrition to the body.
- Drink plenty of water as it would reduce dehydration which actually increases the effect of alcohol and causes hangover, so do not allow your body to lose the fluids.
- Lemon tea is also good home remedy for hangovers along with heavy breakfast.
- Eat raw cabbage, carrot or apple, you can also try a glass of tomato juice to cure hangover this home remedy is handy because these items are easily available in the home.
- Vitamin B Complex or Vitamin B1 also works to reduce hangover, so if you are used to drinking alcohol then you need to add the intake of items like whole grains, brown rice, fishes etc in your regular diet because this would help prevent hangover in the long run.
- Green tea, this is one of the best home remedy for hangover as it helps in refreshing the mind and also gives you better health because it cleanses the body from inside and removes the toxins, so drink 2 -3 cups of green tea when you have a hangover and get rid of it soon.
- When you have a hangover try this home remedy which is my favorite too as it works better, have a healthy breakfast filled with proteins like 3-4 eggs because they are rich in zinc, protein, vitamins and provides lot of nutrition to the body and is a simple and effective home remedy for hangover.
- If you don’t have eggs handy then use a better idea and just take rest for the rest of the day, because by taking adequate rest and relaxing, You would automatically get rid of your hangover gradually without any effort and this gesture would also give you a word of advice as to not to drink to a level where you would have a terrible hangover the next morning. Right? It would just take 24 hours and some patience to end your hangover
- Take a hot Shower for at least 15- 20 minutes as this would make you feel good and relieved of your hangover gradually, but along with this you may have to add up some of the above mentioned home remedies for hangover to get rid of it completely.
Some people say that if you have a severe hangover you need to drink another peg of alcohol as this would reduce the affect of hangover, for some it actually works but for others it does not, so you can try it once and check for the results yourself.
